Since its inception in 1996, the MOBO Awards has truly become one of Europe’s biggest Music Award ceremonies, and perhaps the most important and influential event for music makers and fans. Celebrating excellence in music for more than 20 years, MOBO continues its rich legacy and ongoing growth as the premiere outlet for recognising and honouring the artistic and technical achievements of exceptional British and international talent in the musical fields of Hip Hop, Grime, RnB/Soul, Reggae, Jazz, Gospel, and African music.

Recognize exceptional achievements in ministry and the gospel music industry and celebrate and honour individuals or groups promoting the ideals of Christendom.
MISSION
To recognize and calibrate hardworking gospel music makers, promoters and all involved in the value chain and to provide a focused platform for promoting gospel music.
To provide opportunity for peer-to-peerrelationship building and connecting people propelling the gospel and to use this as an avenue to reach the unsaved-tofulfil the great commission.
To provide an avenue to encourage benchmarking and promote professionalism and to help show other sectors and the public what gospel music is all about.
